Shipping Policy

Last Updated: October 8th 2026

At Janitorial Warehouse Ltd, we aim to provide fast, reliable, and efficient delivery services for all orders across the United Kingdom.

This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, dispatched, and delivered.

1. Order Processing

Orders are processed during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, excluding public holidays.

We aim to dispatch in-stock orders placed before 2:00 PM UK time, Monday to Friday, on the same working day, where payment has been received and no additional delivery arrangements are required.

Orders placed after this time, or on weekends or public holidays, will normally be processed on the next working day.

Please note that processing times may vary during busy periods, promotional events, or due to supplier availability.

2. Delivery Areas

We currently deliver to most mainland UK addresses.

At present, we are unable to deliver to:

  • Northern Ireland (BT postcodes)
  • Republic of Ireland
  • Isle of Man (IM postcodes)
  • Jersey (JE postcodes)
  • Guernsey (GY postcodes)

Deliveries to the following remote areas may be subject to an additional delivery charge:

  • Scottish Highlands
  • Isles of Scilly (TR21–TR25)

Where an additional delivery charge applies, the applicable rate will be shown at checkout before you place your order.

3. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.

Typical delivery timeframes:

  • Most in-stock orders are delivered within 2–5 working days.

  • Larger equipment or pallet deliveries may take longer.

Delivery times may be affected by:

  • Courier delays

  • Weather conditions

  • Stock availability

  • Public holidays

  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control

4. Shipping Costs

Standard delivery is £8.50 + VAT (£10.20 including VAT) on orders under £100 excluding VAT.

Orders over £100 excluding VAT (£120 including VAT) qualify for free standard delivery to eligible mainland UK addresses.

Additional delivery charges may apply to certain remote locations, large or specialist items, or deliveries requiring a specialist service.

Where applicable, delivery charges will be shown at checkout. If a specialist delivery charge cannot be calculated automatically, we will contact you before processing your order.

5. Tracking Information

Where available, tracking information will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

Tracking updates are provided by third-party courier services and may vary depending on the delivery method used.

6. Large, Heavy, or Hazardous Goods

Some products, including:

  • Large cleaning machines

  • Pallet deliveries

  • Hazardous chemicals

may require specialist delivery services and longer delivery times.

Additional delivery restrictions or charges may apply for these items.

Where applicable, we will provide details of any additional delivery requirements or charges before dispatch.

7. Delivery Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate delivery information

  • Ensuring access is available for delivery

  • Inspecting deliveries upon arrival where possible

Customers may be responsible for additional costs arising from incorrect delivery information or failed delivery attempts where these are caused by the customer, subject to applicable statutory rights.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.

8. Damaged or Missing Deliveries

If your order arrives damaged or items are missing, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery.

Please provide:

  • Your order number

  • Details of the issue

  • Photographs where possible

We will investigate the issue and, where appropriate, work with the courier to arrange a suitable resolution.

9. Failed Deliveries & Returned Orders

If a delivery is unsuccessful due to an incorrect address, failure to accept delivery, or failure to arrange re-delivery, we may charge a re-delivery fee of £10.20 including VAT to cover the additional courier cost.

Where an order is returned to us following an unsuccessful delivery, we will contact the customer to discuss the available options.

If the customer chooses to cancel the order, any refund will be processed in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy and applicable statutory rights. Any delivery or return costs will only be deducted where permitted by law.

The customer will always be informed of any additional charges before a further delivery is arranged.

10. Delays Beyond Our Control

Delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier disruption, severe weather, industrial action, or supply chain issues.

Where an unexpected delay occurs, we will take reasonable steps to resolve the issue and, where appropriate, contact you with an updated delivery estimate.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory consumer rights.
