Introducing Selden Selgiene Virucidal Wipes!
Over the past 9 months Selden have been developing and testing a new wipe and have now received the lab testing and the results are fantastic.
They have developed a disinfectant liquid that works with a wipe based on a natural lactic acid virucide, the wipes also contain detergent so will also clean the surface.
One of the major benefits of using the new Selden Selgiene Virucidal Wipes is that because they are lactic acid they are 90% less damaging to surfaces than traditional wipes that are normally Quat, Bleach or Alcohol based wipes.
The Bactericidal and Virucidal efficacy for the wipes is also second to none.
Selden Selgiene Virucidal Wipes are alcohol free and have passed the following EN Tests:
EN1276 - Kills a wide range of bacteria
EN14476 - Kills all enveloped viruses including Coronaviruses and SARS-CoV-2
EN1650 - Kills yeasts
Obviously the question on everyone’s lips at the moment is around Coronavirus (SARS-COV-2).
Selden Selgiene Virucidal Wipes kill the coronavirus with a 1 min contact time and this test was done in dirty conditions.
Testing in dirty conditions gives a better real world example.
The other major test that the wipes have passed is EN16615 which proves it works as a wipe.
And more importantly that when using Selden Selgiene Virucidal Wipes it will not spread any bacteria around causing cross contamination and spread of pathogens / bacteria.
Many manufacturers of wipes do not test their products as wipe they only test the liquid within the wipe.
This is why the pass of EN16615 is so important for healthcare customers.
Selgiene Virucidal Wipes are suitable for use on any water washable hard surface in catering, housekeeping, education and healthcare environments.
They are high performance, low lint, 50% natural/50% synthetic wipes for all round cleaning and disinfection.
